My heart beats for anything that is fun to watch, that makes you laugh and think at the same time. Yes, comedy of course, but also romance, animation, family entertainment and crime with a twist are to be found in my writer’s toolbox amongst others.
At the moment I am developing feature length scripts for film and TV as well as several series concepts. Nonetheless I am always up for new ideas or commissioned work for existing formats. I especially enjoy working in teams, which I treat like improv theatre: say yes, and… and bring humour into it.
Grown up in Austria, I have lived in Sydney and Tokyo for some time, now in Vienna, I write in German or English. Not in Japanese unfortunately.
In 2024 I won the Heroines in Series Award together with Polish screenwriter Agata Malesińska for the series project Straw Puppet. The award is the one of the most sought-after and well-funded prizes in Austria, granted by the Ministry of Labour and Economy.
